- Metarol 5% GR is a special type of insecticide designed to control snails (snail snails) belonging to the Gastropoda family. It comes in the form of a ready-to-use bait and contains substances that attract snails and are natural to them, and it is not significantly affected by rainwater.
- Metarol 5% GR insecticide is used around crops in fields, gardens, greenhouses, and plastic tunnels, including vegetables, fruits, citrus, grapes, strawberries, grains, and other crops and ornamental plants. The insecticide granules remain resistant to rotting due to the presence of preservatives. They are also not easily dispersed by wind. The insecticide kills insects through contact or ingestion.
Usage rate:
- Metaldehyde granules can be spread manually or using a composting machine. For small areas with an infestation of 100 snails per square meter, use a rate of 2 grams per square meter (120 granules per square meter). Spread the granules on the ground around the plant.
- To protect rare plants, double the normal rate and distribute the granules around flowers and vegetables, in plastic-covered greenhouses, under tables, in glass-covered greenhouses, and on green spaces.
- It can be applied using scattering tools where it is scattered over a wide area, in lines, or even in the form of small piles.
- It is advisable to spread the material in the evening on the surface of the soil; the soil should be moist (after watering or rainfall).
- Mixability should be added separately and not mixed with any chemical substance.
