- Zircon 25% WDG is a systemic insecticide containing thiamethoxam, used to control sap-sucking insects such as aphids, whiteflies and thrips, which feed on plant sap and cause weak growth and lower yields. It is absorbed and translocated within plant tissues, so the active ingredient reaches all plant parts, including new growth. Zircon acts quickly and gives lasting control when applied at the start of infestation, helping to limit pest spread and damage and to reduce transmission of diseases carried by sucking insects.
