It runs on a Briggs & Stratton Intek 19 HP engine fitted with a pressure lubrication system that helps protect engine parts during operation. It comes with an AutoDrive automatic transmission controlled by a foot pedal, making it easier to drive and adjust travel speed. It features a 107 cm cutting deck with two blades and support wheels to reduce turf scalping, with 5 cutting height levels. The open step-thru frame makes mounting and dismounting easy and gives more leg room, with a medium-back seat and rubber footrests for better comfort. It works with side discharge, and a grass collection attachment or a mulching kit can be added as needed.

Suitable Uses

  • Suitable for mowing natural grass in gardens and the areas around villas and rest houses, especially lawns that allow the tractor to move and turn easily. The 107 cm cutting width helps you work between paths and planting beds, provided you make sure the machine's overall width suits the entrances and walkways.
  • The speed of completing the work varies with grass height, density and moisture, the nature of the ground and the number of obstacles. The machine is used to mow grass lawns, with stones, wires and branches removed before starting.
  • Mowing and Grass Collection System
  • Side discharge
  • In its basic configuration the machine works with side discharge, where the cut grass exits from the side of the cutting deck. Aim the discharge opening away from people, cars, glass and planting beds where you do not want clippings to land.
  • Rear collection
  • A compatible rear collection attachment can be fitted to collect cut grass and leaves, making it easier to clean the lawn and dispose of the waste or use it for composting in a suitable way. The collection attachment is sold separately and is not part of the basic configuration.
  • Grass mulching
  • A compatible mulching kit can be fitted to chop the clippings into finer pieces and return them to the lawn. It is best used with regular mowing and dry grass, and avoid removing a large amount of grass length in a single pass. The mulching kit is sold separately.
  • Attachments and Additional Uses
  • The rear hitch allows compatible garden attachments to be connected, such as transport carts, towed sprayers and fertilizer spreaders. Make sure the attachment, its capacity and the permitted towing limits are suitable before use, according to the machine's manual.

How to Use

  • Before starting
  • Check the engine oil level, fuel and tire pressure according to the operating manual.
  • Make sure the blades, belts and guards are in good condition and that there are no leaks or loose parts.
  • Remove stones, wires, toys and branches from the mowing area.
  • Choose the suitable cutting height, and get to know the controls, the stop control and the blade controls.
  • While mowing
  • Start the machine and the blades according to the steps in the operating manual.
  • Control travel speed with the foot pedal, and reduce it when the grass is dense or when approaching obstacles.
  • Work in parallel passes with a slight overlap between them to avoid leaving uncut strips.
  • Avoid sharp turns, and keep the grass discharge pointing in a safe direction.
  • After finishing
  • Stop the blades and the engine, engage the parking brake and remove the ignition key.
  • Wait until the moving parts stop completely before inspecting or cleaning.
  • Remove grass residue as described in the manual, then store the machine in a dry, covered place.

Care and Maintenance

  • Engine: Keep the correct oil level and follow the oil change schedule and the filter maintenance intervals given in the engine manual.
  • Blades: Inspect their condition regularly; dull or damaged blades affect cutting evenness and may tear the grass tips.
  • Cutting deck: Remove grass buildup to maintain cutting efficiency and clippings discharge.
  • Belts: Check them for cracks or wear, and replace any damaged belt with the suitable size and specification.
  • Tires: Keep the pressure specified in the manual, as uneven pressure can affect the machine's levelness and the mowing result.
  • Storage: Follow the fuel preparation and machine care instructions when it will not be used for a long period.
  • Spare parts: Use the product number and serial number on the machine's plate when ordering parts or attachments.

Warnings

  • To be used by a trained adult after reading the operating manual.
  • Wear closed shoes and eye and hearing protection, and avoid loose clothing.
  • Keep children, animals and bystanders away from the work area, and do not allow passengers to ride along.
  • Do not operate the machine without its guards, and do not put your hand or foot under the cutting deck or near the discharge opening.
  • Avoid mowing wet grass or near pits and edges, and observe the slope limits stated in the manual.
  • Check that the area behind the machine is clear before reversing, and stop the blades when crossing gravel paths.
  • Do not run the engine in an enclosed space, and let it cool before adding fuel.
  • Stop the engine and wait for the blades to stop completely before clearing blockages or performing maintenance.

Orkida Tip

  • To keep the lawn looking good, avoid removing more than one third of the blade length at a time. If the grass is long, start with a high cutting level and lower it gradually over spaced-out sessions. Make sure the grass is dry and the blades are sharp, and reduce travel speed if you notice clumps or uncut sections. Also change the mowing pattern direction from time to time for a more uniform result.
