- Solfac 50 EW is a public health insecticide for controlling flying and crawling insects. It contains the active ingredient cyfluthrin and is effective against a wide range of public health insects and some arthropods when applied as a residual spray, thermal fog or ultra-low volume (ULV) spray.
- Target insects include ants, cockroaches, mosquitoes, house flies, ticks, silverfish, fleas and bed bugs.
- A distinctive water-based formulation prepared as oil suspended in water, which makes it low-odor, long-lasting and stable under UV light and alkaline conditions.
- Rapid kill: crawling insects die within minutes of contact, and flying insects are killed quickly even at low rates.
- Suitable for use everywhere, especially in sensitive areas, so it is recommended for hospitals, warehouses, offices, transport such as aircraft, ships and buses, animal housing, restaurants, dairy plants, food manufacturing and processing facilities and more.
- A distinctive oil-in-water emulsion (EW) formulation containing cyfluthrin 5%.
- Classified in WHO Class III (slightly hazardous).
Mode of Action of Solfac 050 EW:
- Cyfluthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide that works by contact and disrupts the sodium balance in the nerve cells of the insect's central and peripheral nervous system, causing paralysis and then death.

- Surface spray / indoor areas – crawling or resting insects: 8 ml Solfac per 1 L of water; apply 1 L of solution per 20 m² (50 ml / 1 m²).
- Ultra-low volume (ULV) spray – outdoor areas: 40 ml Solfac per 1 L of water; apply 500 ml of solution per hectare (10,000 m²).
- Ultra-low volume (ULV) spray – indoor areas: 20 ml Solfac per 1 L of water; apply 100 – 200 ml of solution per 500 m².
- Thermal fogging / outdoor areas – flying insects (mosquitoes, flies): 20 ml Solfac per 1 L of water or Royal Fog; apply 100 – 200 ml per 500 m².
