Piocal is a specialized liquid fertilizer that corrects calcium deficiency and supports balanced vegetative growth, supplying nitrogen and calcium in an easily absorbed form. It is used to reduce blossom-end rot, fruit cracking and weak tissue firmness, especially in tomato, pepper, cucumber, watermelon and strawberry.
Calcium strengthens cell walls and improves fruit firmness and quality, while nitrogen supports vegetative growth without reducing fruit firmness when used correctly. It is recommended before flowering, at early fruit set and during fruit enlargement, when the plant's calcium demand is highest, helping to improve crop quality and reduce losses.
Key Features:
- Treats and prevents calcium-deficiency symptoms such as blossom-end rot, fruit cracking and weak growing tips.
- Improves fruit firmness and reduces losses and market rejection.
- Builds strong cell walls, increasing plant tolerance to heat stress.
- Provides a nitrogen source for balanced vegetative growth.
- Rapidly absorbed through foliar spraying and suitable for regular feeding programs.
- Fits into an integrated fertilization program during fruit set and fruit growth.
