Pendalin Plus 330 EC is a selective, soil-acting (non-systemic) herbicide containing pendimethalin 33% (EC). It controls annual grassy (narrow-leaved) and broadleaf weeds in crops such as wheat, alfalfa (berseem), potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots and vegetable transplants. It forms an active layer on the soil surface that prevents weed seed germination and disrupts root and shoot formation at the earliest stages. It can also be applied on very young weed seedlings for maximum control and a clean start for the crop.
Key Features
Effective against annual grassy (narrow-leaved) weeds that compete with the crop early in the season.
Controls broadleaf weeds such as purslane, crabgrass and similar annual species before they spread.
Suitable for wheat, alfalfa, potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots and vegetable transplants.
Acts through the soil, forming a barrier that stops weed seeds from germinating.
Can be applied on very young weed seedlings to improve control when used early.
Reduces hoeing and manual weeding and keeps the field clean for a good period.

Action: soil-applied (pre-emergence + early post-emergence on young seedlings)
Selectivity: selective
Formulation: emulsifiable concentrate (EC)
Spectrum: annual narrow-leaved and broadleaf weeds
Pack size: 1 liter
Directions for Use
Apply just before weed emergence as a full-coverage ground spray on the soil surface with uniform coverage.
Wheat and barley: 1.5–2 L/ha (equivalent to 2–3 ml per liter of water) to prevent early-season weed germination and support uniform tillering and growth.
Alfalfa (berseem): 1.5–2 L/ha (equivalent to 2–3 ml per liter of water) to reduce weed competition during establishment and increase stand density.
Potatoes: 3–4 L/ha (equivalent to 4–5 ml per liter of water) immediately after planting to keep rows clean and prevent weed emergence.
Onions and garlic: 3–5 L/ha (equivalent to 4–6 ml per liter of water) to protect the crop during sensitive stages and reduce the need for hoeing.
Carrots: 2–3 L/ha (equivalent to 3–4 ml per liter of water) to prevent weeds that affect uniform growth and root quality.
Vegetable transplants: 2–4 L/ha (equivalent to 3–5 ml per liter of water) to keep the soil around transplants clean and reduce early stress.
Important Notes
Do not disturb or cultivate the soil after spraying, to keep the herbicide layer intact.
Soil moisture or a light irrigation after spraying is preferred to activate the herbicide.
Do not use on very dry, uneven or cracked soil.
Make sure seeds are sown at a suitable depth before spraying.
Avoid spraying before heavy rain or in windy conditions to prevent loss or drift.
Not effective on perennial or well-established weeds.
Re-entry interval: 24 hours.
Orkida Tip
The best time to apply Pendalin Plus is right after sowing with adequate soil moisture. Any delay reduces its efficiency because weeds start germinating early; correct timing is the key to a clean field and lower weed-control costs all season.
