- Metarol 5% GR is an effective molluscicide designed to control all types of snails and slugs (class Gastropoda). It comes as a ready-to-use bait in small pellets containing attractants that are natural to snails, and it is not significantly affected by rain.
- Metarol 5% GR is applied around crops in fields, gardens, glasshouses and plastic greenhouses, including vegetables, fruit, citrus, grapes, strawberries, cereals, other crops and ornamental plants. The pellets resist mould from humidity thanks to added preservatives and are not easily carried by wind. It kills snails and slugs by contact or ingestion.

Directions for Use:
- Metaldehyde pellets can be spread by hand or with a fertilizer spreader. Use at 2 g per m², i.e. about 120 pellets per m², where infestation reaches 100 snails per m², for treating small areas. Scatter the pellets on the ground around the plants.
- To protect valuable plants, double the normal rate; pellets can be placed around flowers and vegetables, in plastic and glass greenhouses, under benches and on lawns.
- Can be applied with spreading tools over a wide area, in rows or in small heaps.
- Best applied in the evening on the soil surface; the soil should be moist (after irrigation or rain).
- Compatibility: use alone; do not mix with any chemical.
