- Marval 240 EC is a selective systemic post-emergence herbicide for the control of annual and perennial grass (narrow-leaf) weeds. It contains the active ingredient clethodim at 240 g/L and is absorbed through the leaves and translocated to the roots, stopping weed growth and causing the weeds to wilt and die gradually. It is used on crops such as alfalfa, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, watermelon, fruit trees and ornamental plants.
Key Features:
- Broad activity against grass weeds only, without affecting broadleaf crops.
- Rapidly absorbed and acts inside the plant for effective, long-lasting results.
- Safe on crops when the recommended rate is followed.
- Suitable for field crops, orchards, vegetable and fruit farms.
- Can be tank-mixed with non-phytotoxic pesticides after a compatibility test.
