Directions for Use
- Soil preparation: clear the area of weeds, stones and plant debris, then loosen and level the soil to a fine, even surface with good drainage.
- Seeding rate: spread 25–40 g of seed per m². The bag covers up to 400 m² at 25 g/m²; coverage decreases at higher seeding rates.
- Sowing: divide the seed into two halves; spread the first half lengthwise and the second crosswise for even coverage. Cover with a thin layer of soil about 5 mm deep, then press the surface lightly to improve seed-to-soil contact.
- Irrigation: water after sowing with a fine spray, keeping the surface layer moist during germination and avoiding flooding or washing away the seed.
- Care after germination: gradually reduce watering frequency once growth is established, delay the first mowing until the lawn is well established, and avoid mowing too short.
Best Sowing Time
- Sow during mild-temperature periods with regular irrigation available. In Saudi Arabia, avoid sowing during periods of intense summer heat and choose a time suited to soil temperature and local conditions.
Precautions
- Germination speed may vary between the six varieties in the blend.
- Keep the soil moist during germination without overwatering.
- Avoid walking on the new lawn until roots are established.
- Avoid mowing too short because of the high tall fescue content.
