- Consido 25% WP is an insect growth regulator (IGR) insecticide designed to control caterpillar larvae in agricultural crops. It contains diflubenzuron, which disrupts the formation of chitin, the material essential for moulting, so the larvae fail to complete their development and die before becoming adult insects.
- Consido is used in the early stages of infestation when larvae are small and active. It helps break the pest's life cycle and reduce the numbers of following generations in the field. It has a long-lasting effect and is a suitable choice within integrated pest management programmes.
