- Abamak 36 EC is a specialized acaricide and insecticide containing the active ingredient abamectin at a concentration of 36 g/L. It is used to control agricultural mites, leaf miners, and thrips on a wide range of vegetable, fruit, and ornamental crops. It is characterized by its ability to penetrate leaf tissues and reach pests hiding on the underside of leaves or within leaf tunnels, thus helping to stop feeding and reduce damage caused by infestation. It is a preferred active ingredient for farmers in mite and leaf miner control programs due to its high efficacy and ability to protect foliage, maintain plant vitality, and preserve crop quality.
Product Features
- It helps to combat red spider mites and agricultural spiders that cause yellowing of leaves, stunted growth and reduced productivity.
- Effective against leaf miners as it reaches the larvae inside leaf tissues and limits the continuation and spread of the infestation.
- It helps in combating thrips and reducing the damage caused by their feeding on leaves, flowers, and fruits.
- It has the property of penetrating inside the leaf (Translaminar Action), which gives it high efficiency in reaching hidden pests.

Orchid advice
- If you start noticing yellow spots on the leaves, fine spider webbing, or winding white tunnels inside the leaves, these are often early signs of spider mite or leaf miner infestation. Using Abamak 36 EC at the beginning of an infestation is much more effective than waiting until the pest has spread. It is also recommended to alternate it with pesticides from different groups within an integrated pest management program to maintain its effectiveness for as long as possible.
