Being a neonicotinoid, it binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (naChR) in the membrane between nerve and muscle cells of insects.
- Ultimately, this gradually leads to the paralysis of the pest and then its death. The highest degree of safety. The pesticide Optiguard Flex manufactured by Syngenta is considered one of the safest and most approved pesticides for spraying with a long-term residual effect in institutions that deal with food and in poultry and cattle farms, using a smaller amount of the active ingredient and with less impact on the environment.
