About Ants
Ants are small insects that live in large groups called colonies, usually found in soil, under stones, in trees and in other damp areas. They feed on a wide range of foods including grains, insects and other organic juices, and play an important role in the environment by breaking down organic matter in the soil and keeping the ecosystem balanced. Ants also turn the soil and carry seeds, and are known for their advanced social system. A colony usually consists of a queen, workers and males, each with a specific role. Ants in homes are usually controlled with insecticides.
Orkida Tip
Ant control is more effective when bait placements remain undisturbed and food or sugar sources are removed around the treatment area. For advice, contact Orkida on WhatsApp 0563033126.
