Mode of Action
Thiamethoxam is a non-repellent active ingredient that works by both contact and ingestion against a broad spectrum of insect pests. As a neonicotinoid, it binds to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in the insect nervous system, gradually causing paralysis and then death. It delivers long-lasting residual control while using less active ingredient, with lower environmental impact.
Precautions
- Read the label carefully before use and follow the instructions.
- Wear gloves and a mask during mixing and spraying.
- Keep children and pets away from treated areas until surfaces are dry.
- Do not spray directly on food, utensils or water sources.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
Orkida Tip
Because Optigard Flex is non-repellent, insects do not avoid treated surfaces; treat cracks, crevices, bed frames and hiding places thoroughly. For advice, contact us on WhatsApp: 0563033126.
